NYC and Lately

As I mentioned here, we’ve had a great time in NYC and did our fair amount of walking. I wanted to share some of my favorite snapshots of both NYC and home to give you an idea of what I’ve been up to lately.

Also, happy second day of fall! In honor of my favorite season, here’s a fall to-do list I’m trying to cross off this season.

Things to do in the fall:

1.) Attend all of the local outdoor fall events we have coming up. There are quite a few and I want to try to experience as many as possible!

2.) Enjoy as much time outside as possible before it gets too cold. Parks, neighborhood walks, outdoor barbecues…

3.) Attend several football tailgates.

4.) Take advantage of fall fashion and get ahead in planning my outfits ahead of time.

5.) Cook, cook, cook! I get in the best cooking mood this time of year. My goal is to go to the farmers market more often for fresh local produce.

6.) Finish all of the fall and winter DIY’s on my list.

7.) Purge clothes I don’t need anymore.

8.) Fall cleaning overhaul. Not particularly excited about this one, but it needs to be done.

9.) Make apple cider

10.) Pumpkin patch, hay ride, bonfire, and corn maze are all on my October list.

What’s on your fall bucket list? I’d love to hear what you’re most excited about doing!
