Charleston Travel Diary and Lately

One of my favorite things in the world to do is to travel. It doesn’t matter how close it is — it could be a day trip and it completely opens up my world, resets my mind, takes away stress and allows me to experience. As you can tell by my previous travel diaries (Travel Diary: Croatia, Travel Diary: the Alps, Travel Diary: Boston to name a few), I’m my happiest when I’m exploring new places.

I’ve been to Charleston countless times before, but each time is as magical as the last. This time was particularly special because I was able to meet so many wonderful friends who share similar interests. Below I’ve compiled a lot of the photos I took. Usually I take these with my camera, but as time was tight these are all from the phone — I’ll make it up next trip!

  3. I’m so with you on the traveling thing. I make it a point to save up and jump at the chance whenever I can — I once flew to California from Ohio for two days, but it was SO worth it! I’m packing to leave for Hawaii with my family Friday, and Charleston is definitely on my list for the future! I hear it’s such a beautiful city. Love your pictures.
