A few months ago I stumbled upon several matcha latte recipes. I’ve seen them around for a long time and was always curious about the taste. I finally decided to try one, and a couple of months later I’m making them every other day. It’s a win-win for me – I feel like I’m having a treat at 10 in the morning!
½ cup light coconut milk (I like canned better)
½ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
½ tsp matcha powder
1/3 cup frozen kale
½ scoop vanilla protein powder (optional – I happen to like the taste and it holds me over, but not everyone does)
1 tsp of almond (or vanilla) extract
Cinnamon to taste
Stevia to taste
Add more milk or water if you’d like a thinner consistency.
