Pleated Striped Skirt

Forever 21 jacket (sold out – I also love this one) / skirt (from Paris – similar here and I’m obsessed with this one) / Urban Outfitters shoulder bag

Of everything in my closet, this skirt is by far one of my favorites. My parents bought it in Paris a couple of years ago while visiting my sister — I love the pleats, and everyone knows by now that the black and white stripes trend is one of my favorites! Perhaps my favorite thing about this skirt, however, is that it’s basically incapable of wrinkling. It’s the little things! 🙂

Speaking of Paris, I’ve recently been missing my time in Europe more than usual. Most of my favorite life experiences and fun memories have happened while abroad, and I love reminiscing and reliving those moments. Our latest trip was this summer when the family visited Austria, Croatia, and Slovenia. It was an amazing experience, and one I’ll never forget. Traveling in 2015 is definitely a goal of mine — hoping it will happen!

Where is your favorite travel destination? Where holds the most memories for you? Would love to know in the comments!

  1. I absolutely adore this entire outfit, and its European inspiration! I spent some time in Europe myself and know exactly what you mean about missing it. It gives us something to look forward to, though. Planning trips to visit new places, visiting old favorites, etc.

My favorite, absolute hands down incontestable favorite travel destination is the Lakes District, Cumbria, UK. It’s this great little region with lots of hiking, kayaking, and other outdoor adventuring tied with simply stunning English countryside and teeming with British Literature history. Everyone from the Bronte sisters, Wordsworth, Beatrix Potter, and many more have ties here and write about the region often. Grasmere is my favorite town in the area. It is so quaint and tiny but has amazing hiking, a gorgeous vegetarian inn (hidden well off the beaten path, no less), swimming in Lake Grasmere, and so much more.

London holds the most memories for me. I’ve lived there twice now for two different periods of studying. It’s my second home.

    1. I’ve never been to the area, but it sounds lovely! I’ve been to London for several days but that was it as far as my experience in England. This year was Austria and Croatia, but I’m hoping to tackle more of the UK next 🙂

  2. That pleated skirt is beautiful! I’d have to say one of my favorite places I’ve travelled to was Italy 🙂 Only partly because of the food!
