This past Sunday, my family was reminiscing about all of the marinades we used to make in the summertime. Lately, we’ve been using bottled marinades from the grocery store, so we decided to make a habit of tossing together some sauces from scratch… they’re healthy and more flavorful! We decided on a fresh, cilantro-inspired choice to complement the shrimp kabobs we were craving. This Cilantro Lime Marinade recipe was a perfect introductory recipe for summer, and it hit the spot. We added 2 additional tablespoons of lime juice to the recipe, and for an extra pop of flavor, we squeezed our grilled limes over the cooked shrimp.
