Memorial Day Sangria

My sister is visiting from NYC for Memorial Day, so I wanted to prepare something special we could savor while lounging by the pool. I’m overjoyed by her visit as the distance keeps us from seeing each other often. I don’t know what I would do without her daily calls or her appreciation for life and the little things. I’m already picturing us in the sun with magazines, hours of laughs and conversation, and this delicious sangria.

Memorial Day Sangria

2 bottles red wine

2 cups Fresca or Sprite

2 cups orange juice (no pulp)

1 cup blueberries

2 cups quartered strawberries

Pour the wine, Fresca, and orange juice into a pitcher. Toss fruit into a bowl and muddle until a small layer of juice sits at the bottom. Add to pitcher and enjoy.

  3. I love how easy this recipe is. Usually, Sangria has a million different ingredients and I don’t have the time to run to the store to grab everything.

    Thanks for the share!
